Lets Have a #realtalk from the eyes of Smam. Just like any other girl it seems Im constantly searching for a way to maintain a healthy weight. I dont say lose weight because that gives the idea I want a diet. Im not looking to go to extremes and restrict myself and live an unhappy life. The fitness and health industry has so many options one Google search can send your head reeling with information and if youre like me then you go eat a snickers and say #fuckit I think the general consensus with most lifestyle choices is that you need a caloric deficit i.e. have your body intake less calories then your body requires to maintain its current weight or lose weight. Good thing that a keto diet allows for things like cream cheese and bacon. After a brief hiatus (where did the past week go?) I’ve returned. Last weekend was a long weekend in Canada so I was out of service camping for most of my time off. I was so proud of myself for how in control I was of my snacking… yes there were a few handfuls of chips a graham cracker rice crispy square or two and many beers consumed but I normally would have used camping as an excuse to totally derail myself (especially since I’d been in a bit of a plateau). But instead I planned ahead and brought parsnip chips veggies and dip and avoided carbs for the most part go me huge accomplishment.
