There is soooo much information out there when it comes to how you should eat for fat loss. I am going to attempt to sum up a few things in this post. . First of all- if there were a magic diet or way of eating that made you lose fat by barely trying or not having to workout everyone would be doing it and we wouldn’t have an obesity epidemic. . Second- I’ve been hearing tons about intermittent fasting. It means you only eat 8 hours out of the day. You make wakeup and not eat till 1. What this is doing is just CUTTING YOUR CALORIES by cutting time you are eating. You won’t have as much time to eat as many calories as if you were eating all day. If you like it and it works for you do it. If it doesn’t don’t. . Third- Keto is still something I get asked about every week. It’s an extremely low carb and high fat diet. I personally do not like it because it is very strict and all or nothing to keep your body in ketosis which means burning fat for energy instead of carbs. You can lose weight doing it tho. If you like it do it. If you don’t don’t. . Fourth (I don’t know why I’m counting)- no diet will work for every person! You have to find out first what your goals are and second what you are willing to do to achieve those goals. . Also- I do not believe in cutting out all “unclean foods”. I don’t even like the term “clean” for food. You can eat chocolate pasta bread cheese peanut butter and still lose fat. . What matters is HOW MUCH of these you eat and with what else in a day. What matters is how many calories you consistently consume and burn over a long period of time. . If you have other food related questions please comment below and I will address what I can! . . .
